Reading All Together Now

You’ve heard of Flash Mobs, but have you heard of a Flash Read?

Meadville Public Library is wrapping up their Summer Reading Program with a flash-read event in
Diamond Park. Bring your book something comfy to sit on to read in the
park for an hour! There will be a children’s storytime in the gazebo
with a guest reader. Our goal is to fill the park with as many readers as possible! This event coincides with August’s Second Saturday market, too, so there is plenty to do downtown this day!

1. Show up from 12 PM to 1 PM in Diamond Park in Meadville on Saturday, August 12.
2. Read a book, magazine, poem (the possibilities are endless) for the duration of the hour. 
3. Help us demonstrate the power of reading and coming together as a community!
