History & Hot Chocolate: Saegertown in Sports

Our History & Hot Chocolate discussion series makes its return on Saturday, January 20 at 1pm here at the library. Linda Fink from the Saegertown Heritage Society will help spark and facilitate conversation around the history of “Saegertown in Sports”. The scope of the discussion will include everything from the town teams in the early 1900s to modern day school athletics, including the expansion of women’s sports following Title IX, and athletes who have excelled from our community, including a local connection to the 2024 Olympics!
