Therapy Dog Evaluation

You can become part of Paws Hand Delivered/Alliance of Therapy Dogs and share your special canine companion in various situations around the community. The therapy dogs share their special love with individuals throughout Crawford County, Erie County, and Mercer County. To be tested, a dog must be at least one year of age, and the handler must own or have had a close relationship with the dog for a minimum of six months before testing. For additional information, visit the website of the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and follow the directions before testing. Remember, a registered therapy dog IS NOT a service dog. A therapy dog does not have the legal rights of a service dog and will not be permitted into places where dogs are not allowed to be. You will need to schedule an appointment to get evaluated.
