Explore the rich oil, iron, rail history including ghost towns, abundant gravel roads, and small town charms of Western Pennsylvania! Our 200 acre base camp has miles of trails for more adventurous riders as well as all forms of camping, shower houses with flush toilets, and a food truck. This event has replaced our Allegheny Jamboree Rally but we will still have riding in the ANF on some of the available ADV loops! ANF Trails are also 1 hour away! Tons of family fun and tourist attractions in the local area including Oil City, Franklin, Titusville, Tionesta The Gateway to Allegheny National Forest, Two Mile Run County Park,Oil Creek State Park, Sandy Creek Bicycle Trail, Cook Forest, and more!

Meadville’s favorite artisan market is back, celebrating fifteen years of showcasing our community’s most talented makers!

This event is sponsored by the Conneaut Lake Eagles Foundation at the winery pavilion from 3 pm to 8 pm. This is a benefit concert to fund scholarships for students in the Conneaut School District and grants for teachers in the district. They will feature 2 Performers and a food truck.

This will be the 2nd Celebrate Saegertown. We learned and will be improving some things to make this 2nd one even better than the first! We will be posting about it more in the future!

Saegertown will celebrate its 250th anniversary with a series of events throughout 2026, beginning April 4 with a new Heritage Society Museum exhibit featuring artifacts and photos from the borough’s 1976 Bicentennial. The largest celebration will take place August 8 from 11 AM–8 PM along Euclid Avenue, featuring vendors, live music, a car cruise-in, family activities, and historical reenactors. Additional programs, tours, and a fall speaker series will highlight Saegertown’s rich history and the founding of the United States.

42nd Annual Fall Gas Up

Saturday, September 12, 2026

9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Visit Drake Well Museum and Park for its 42nd Annual Fall Gas Up, sponsored by the Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania, and experience the engines and equipment that powered Pennsylvania’s oil fields! Displays will include operating and stationary antique engines, farm and oil field equipment, tractors, models, and more. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens, and $5 for children ages 3-11; members of Friends of Drake Well are FREE. Entrance into the Drake Well Museum and its outdoor exhibits is included with admission; the museum will be open to visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Any collector is welcome and encouraged to bring engines and equipment to display at the event! Engines ranging in size from small Maytags used to power washing machines to large oilfield engines that pumped multiple wells will be displayed by exhibitors from across the tri-state area. Members of the Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Society, based in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, will also feature engines, tractors, and related equipment. Exhibitor registration will take place the day of the event, no pre-registration is required.

Free and open to all classes of cars. Prize given for people’s choice awards for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place.  Enjoy wine samples and additional special quantity pricing.  Food vendors will be on-site.  Sorry, no carry-in alcoholic beverages per PLCB. The car show is from 10 am to 3 pm (cancelled in the event of rain). 

Join us for a fun filled day of worship music performed by our local churches.
Enjoy local food vendors as you listen to great music and a basket auction with many great items to choose.
You’ll hear testimonials from past guests and volunteers and learn how you can be a part of our mission.
All proceeds are used solely to operate St. James Haven.

Join us at Goodell Gardens & Homestead for a special “Feathered Friends” program with Tamarack Wildlife Center!

Even the youngest learners are entranced by live birds. This program introduces them to the similarities and differences between birds and other living creatures and explores what we all need to survive. By meeting a variety of live birds of prey, young people learn how birds of prey are unique and important in our environment.
