A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - always. --George Shepard
The Meadville Council on the Arts enriches the quality of life by providing art education opportunities for individuals, organizations, and our communities, by supporting the creation, production, and exhibition of the visual, performing, and craft arts.
Built in 1870, Pennsylvania's oldest continuously-run market structure still offers fresh local produce, eggs, meat, home-baked goods, local organic, specialty and gourmet foods and artisan crafts.
Meadville Community Theatre has provided over 40 years of excellent live theater. A comfortable seating capacity of 150 keeps the audience up close and personal to each stage production. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The theater is located on the beautiful Allegheny College Campus in the Oddfellows Buildings.
