The landscape of Northwest Pennsylvania is breathtaking to behold, and nothing shows it off better than the winding trails that await your exploration on both foot and bike. The Ersnt Bike Trail is part of a former railroad bed that runs along French Creek for five miles with two access points. Along the way you will pass through meadow and marsh, hardwood stands and hemlock thickets, that variety of which helped this trail become the most biologically diverse one in the state.
For a bit more of an enclosed hiking adventure, head over to Woodcock Dam to explore the park grounds and surrounding areas. Bring your fishing pole and your swimsuit for some water fun after you finish your hike. Take your bike onto the dam itself for a smooth, paved ride.
